Chief continues to hire locally to
build
Marcellus Team
Penn College of Technology graduates
and new Chief employees Amanda Kennedy (pictured below) and
Patrick Moriarity were highlighted in the Penn College of Technology
newsletter article titled Penn
College Alumni among local
pioneers in gas exploration.
Amanda is a midstream operator
for Chief's pipeline subsidiary, Chief Gathering, where she operates
and monitors Chief's compressor stations in Lycoming County. Patrick is
a materials coordinator and is in charge of warehousing material and
inventory, coordinating deliveries and maintaining two local pipe
yards. Both employees work out of Chief's Williamsport field
office.

Chief brings in another new
drilling rig
The Patterson 251 "big rig" is specifically designed for drilling in
the Marcellus Shale and drilled its first well in Clearfield County.
Chief held a BBQ lunch and field tour of the new rig that was
attended by 120 public officials, landowners and members of the media.
